"The camera captures light, our minds capture images."
I've always been intrigued with turning moments into images. As a young child I spent time experimenting in the darkroom whenever I got the chance. Photo courses and a job as photo editor at my college newspaper kept my passion growing.
When I shot my first wedding I was hooked. The excitement, the subject, the atmosphere, the build-up of emotions ... It was an adrenaline rush knowing that I was capturing "once-in-a-life-time" memories.
I do not believe in over staging things. Real moments make better photos.
The best compliment a client can give is that my images made them cry (laugh and smile is good, too!!)
I love my 50mm 1.4.
I love fried clams.
I love mowing the lawn.
I love Ted Talks. (It's become a problem really.)
I love my two children; when I'm not working that's where I am.
And, I love being part of the BCV team.
